The fuel filter is connected in series on the pipeline between the fuel pump and the inlet of the throttle body. The function of a fuel filter is to remove solid impurities such as iron oxide dust contained in the fuel, and prevent fuel system blockage (especially fuel injectors). Reduce mechanical wear, ensure stable engine operation, and improve reliability. The structure of the fuel injector consists of an aluminum shell and a stainless steel bracket inside. The bracket is equipped with high-efficiency filter paper sheets in a chrysanthemum shape to increase the flow area. The electronic fuel injection filter cannot be used interchangeably with the chemical oil filter. Because electronic fuel injection filters often withstand fuel pressures of 200-300KPA, the pressure resistance strength of the filter is generally required to be above 500KPA, while chemical fuel filters do not need to reach such high pressures.
The oil filter must be replaced every 30000 kilometers. If the fuel contains a large amount of impurities, the driving distance will be correspondingly shortened. The arrow on the fuel filter housing indicates the direction of fuel flow, and installation of the fuel filter is not allowed. Even if it works in the installed state for a short period of time, it must be replaced.
